Keagan’s Coffee: Our Story ☕️

2020 - In The Beginning

Keagan’s Coffee was founded in 2020 by none other than the legend himself, Keagan Green. What started out of boredom during the lockdown quickly became a local favorite. Keagan began roasting beans right in his own kitchen, he slowly grew his roasting operation and improving his craft. The love for this process led Keagan to start his own coffee cart business.

2023 - The Grind Gets Real

After roasting and running the coffee cart for a couple years Keagan, alongside his wife Falon, took a huge leap of faith and opened a café in September of 2023. Located on Monkey Island, OK, this shop quickly took off and built an extremely loyal customer base. Between the smell of fresh beans roasting and trays of scratch-made pastries, it became the kind of place people went out of their way to stop by - not just for the coffee, but for the people behind it.

2025 - In The Beginning… Again

In October of 2025, two guys that have been friends so long that they're practically brothers stepped in to continue the story of Keagan’s Coffee. Our names are Trent and Sebastian, and our goal isn’t to change what Keagan and Falon built - it’s to honor it. The same fresh roasted beans, scratch-made pastries, and welcoming atmosphere remain at the heart of everything. We simply want to bring new energy, excitement, and a fresh spark to a place that’s already loved by so many.

A special thank you to Keagan and Falon for trusting us to carry on the legacy you created. We’re honored to continue what you started and to keep your vision alive with every cup we serve.

The story behind Keagan’s first step into coffee:

Established in 2020 in my kitchen

I started my journey into specialty coffee in 2017 whenever my mom opened The Coffee Shelter in Ketchum, Oklahoma. I started out just wanting a job to have during high school, but I quickly fell in love with the complexity that a simple cup of coffee can have. Everything from the scientific aspects of coffee and understanding how to make it taste good, to the way that it brings people together and keeps all of our days starting consistently and deliciously. I was always fascinated with the roasting aspect, as it seemed to be this strange alchemy that connected the farmer to the consumer by unlocking the flavor that was grown within these magical little seeds called beans.

I started my second expedition into coffee purely out of boredom and exploration whilst confined to the inside of my house in April of 2020. I started ordering small amounts of green coffee online and cooking them in a cast iron skillet, then in a flour sifter, then later in a stovetop popcorn maker. I discovered that I loved roasting coffee and giving it to my friends to try, and I felt like I needed to share these beans with everyone. So birthed out of my kitchen and a love of coffee and all of you, I started Keagan’s Coffee in September of 2020.
